Sea water breeze and harsh chemicals were the primary concerns of this booming power plant. Although some areas did have exisiting steel gratings, but all of those traditional gratings started to corrode, and perhaps starting to lose its structural integrity. Omnigrateâ„¢ FRP Gratings were their primary choice for the replacement of those costly but easily replaced materials for the plant's trenches.

Power plant replaces access platforms & ladders with Omnigrate FRP products

Replacement of corroded steel gratings, monkey ladders, and handrails were the main concern by one of the largest power plants in the Southern Region of the Philippines. The plant engineers wanted a more architectural looking, aesthetically pleasing, corrosion-resistant platforms, handrails, and ladder cages. Thus, Omnigrate FRP products were recommended, supplied, designed, and installed that effectively minimized their maintenance cost.

Harsh chemical fumes and consecutive acidic rains were key factors that plant engineers considered in replacing old, easily-corroded perimeter fences with Omnigrate™ FRP Pultruded Fences. Installation of these were just round the clock, with a minimum requirement of manpower—and no welding needed! For a more stable structure, our skilled and professional installers also used Omnigrout™ 036 Fast Cure grout on the fences' footing to the concrete.
